Terms of Service

First Bite is a brand of Shawerminos LLC, a Virginia limited liability company (“First Bite”, “we”). These terms apply when you order from this website. By placing an order you agree to them.

Delivery only

First Bite is a delivery-only kitchen. There is no pickup or dine-in. We deliver to addresses in our delivery area during our ordering hours (Open 24 hours). Orders are prepared and sent out as soon as possible; delivery times shown are estimates, not guarantees.

Deliveries are made by our own drivers. Please give a complete address, any gate or door codes, and a phone number where the driver can reach you. If we can’t deliver because the address or phone number is wrong or no one is available, we may not be able to offer a refund.

Prices and payment

• Prices are in US dollars. Virginia sales tax, local meals tax and a delivery fee are added at checkout.
• Delivery orders have a minimum order amount; checkout will tell you if your order is below it.
• Payment is taken when you place your order, through our payment processor, Stripe.
• Tips are optional and go to the driver who delivers your order.
• If a price on the site is clearly wrong, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

Changes and cancellations

Because food is made to order, we start preparing it right away. To change or cancel an order, call us at (571) 992-5944 as soon as possible. Once your order is being prepared we may not be able to cancel it. See our Refund Policy for problems with an order.

Allergies and dietary needs

Our kitchen handles common allergens including milk, eggs, wheat, soy, tree nuts, peanuts and sesame. We can’t guarantee any item is allergen-free. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering. Cross-contact can happen in a shared kitchen. Call us at (571) 992-5944 or email info@thefirstbite.co.

Food safety

Hot food is best eaten right away. Please refrigerate leftovers promptly.

Using this website

Please don’t misuse the site, for example by placing fake orders or trying to interfere with how it works. We may refuse or cancel orders we believe are fraudulent.

Our responsibility

To the extent allowed by law, our total responsibility for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Virginia or federal law that can’t be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you place your order applies to that order.
